An early start this morning. Sometimes I wonder why my brain says 'zing' time to wake up' when I'm clearly still tired and it's too soon to get up.

A meeting to crunch numbers and discuss ways to help our girl should she need it.

After a visit to my favourite building, the National Portrait Gallery. The whole foyer is so flipping gorgeous, it was the one building I would tell tourists to visit. The coffee and cake isn't too bad either.

We also visited the Taylor Wessing exhibition. Much to admire and much to remind me that the standard of photography on Blip is high. Maybe sometime soon I will be inspired to pick up my big camera again.

And throughout all this the rain came down in small torrents and I wore a coat. Remember those!
