Good Clean Fun

Thanks to the kind guys at Coast, we have a free day's hire of a pressure washer. Although we had to limit our cleaning because the butler had painted the cottage walls earlier in the week, we had great fun dirt-busting! The butler insisted on this being recorded as the blip of the day ... hope you can cope with the excitement of the photo! And the Hunters are pink because they were half the price of the sedate colours on whataboutourtaxes.co.uk. Similarly, the beige fleece and the butler's golf waterproofs! Glamour, always glamour!

More seriously, this week I have managed the first remotely strenuous outdoor work in six months, gardening and outdoor cleaning and it's amazing how morale boosting and uplifting that is, not to mention the sheer pleasure of working with the soil , sun, rain, shrubs and plants.
