work ready for replacement windows. We almost wished we hadn’t gone ahead when we realised neither of us is capable of getting blinds/fittings down from the current frames. Window company will not undertake the work (in case of damage) and the company who originally fitted them couldn’t do it in time. However my late friend’s son has done a lot of jobs for us and today did the work with no hassle and will return to reinstate when we are ready. Next problem, the ‘phone cable is embedded in frame and Tedwin has been trying to sort this out, at one point today we had no ‘phone connection and no internet for a longer period. At present it is currently working but tomorrow who knows. The installation due to take place tomorrow has been put back a day, as the job is taking longer.

Feels strange with bare windows, two at the front as well, fortunately we are away from the road.

It can only get better.
