Moth spotting...

Everyday is a school day it seems now when you're taking photos of bugs and critters!  A little walk at the nature reserve on Canvey this morning and this little chap was in the undergrowth, so got a photo and asked on a facebook moth group what it was and was told it was a Sharp Angled Peacock moth! Another newbie to add to my list!

And the moths were posing nicely today unlike all the butterflies who were flying around! Also spotted some Shelduck with one baby which was cute.

Still feeling really humid and still no rain! Managed to get some dahlias planted in the garden yesterday evening - we'll see how long it takes before they get munched!!
