Family trip to Touchwood

We had our usual lazy morning, then as Mike was working reduced hours we went into Solihull in the afternoon as Jake needed new school shoes, and I still had some vouchers from last years birthday so we went into Next and bought Eva some lovely new clothes in size 6-9 months. They are too big, but she's on the verge of growing out of her size 3-6 months clothes, especially her leggings which all seem to dig into her little tummy.
We then went to the Slug and Lettuce for lunch. It was such a hot, sunny day that it was really busy outside, so we sat inside in the shade and enjoyed a refreshing shandy with lunch. They were getting ready for 80s night and Mike suggested I see what Sue was doing that night and he'd have Eva if I wanted to go, but I knew she'd got plans and besides, we hadn't booked a table and it gets rammed (am I getting old? Haha)
We got back and Eva had gone 3 hours without a feed which for her is a long time in the day, but she didn't even cry bless her, she didn't half gulp it down though when she did feed.
Eva went to bed around 10.30pm as usual, and me, Mike and Jake watched Django Unchained, which we all really enjoyed.
Silly me forgot to take a photo today while we were out, so today's blip is the other night when she was scrunching her little face up as she was sleeping when the flash went off, and with snuggle bear that Aunty Sue and Bebe bought her. We bought Bebe a pretty much identical one when she was born and now Eva has one off them. It's so lovely that me and Sue, after being best friends for over 30 years, both now have our very much longed for little babies :-) xxxx
