What a cool number!

Thanks to Carolina for hosting mono Monday this month. Her theme this week is ‘middle.’ It was suggested that we toss out the rule of thirds but have what draws the eye in the middle of the photo.
Here’s some asymmetrical balance with about 2/3 sky and the water spout in the middle. Does it fit?

I took this photo at the Quail Creek Country Club. We had our monthly birthday luncheon at The Grill. It was my friend Yolanda’s 98th birthday. A dear friend so no amount of clomping around was going to keep me away.

In other news…MRI results show a longitudinal stress fracture along the 2nd metatarsal of my right foot. More info on Wednesday.

The church held a ‘marriage seminar.’ The Priest asked Luigi, since he was approaching his 50th anniversary, to share some insight into how he managed to stay married to the same woman for so many years. Luigi said, “well, I tried to treat her well and spend money on her. But the best thing I did was to take her to Italy for our 20th anniversary.”

The Priest said, “Luigi, you are an inspiration to all of the husbands here today. Tell us, what have you planned for your wife for your 50th anniversary?”

Luigi proudly replied, “ I’m gonna go and get her.”
