We set off to explore the campground trails this morning. One lead us through the woods and popped us out at the edge of the river. Mace was so excited by the rushing water. It almost energized him.

Returning to the campground we spotted this incredible structure. Held together by resin, in a perfect spiral. And isn’t Mace the perfect model.

Our exploration led us off site for the afternoon. We found a number of trailheads for upcoming hikes (BJ will take) and ended up at the base of Mt Washington at Cog Railway Base Station. Made lunch and watched the trains head up the Mountain.

Fueled up in Gotham and headed back to our site just before the downpours hit the area. What a miserable evening for our neighbors in tents!!

We faired well though, ate dinner and watched a movie. Showered and turned in for the night. Love having the comforts of home in our Van.
