Delightful Discovery

We walked on the cycle path on the other side of the Taw estuary today. Our target was the Waterside Coffee House which didn’t disappoint.
On the way we made a delightful discovery - a birdwatchers log book in a bespoke wooden box. It also contained bird identification information. This was close to one of the few houses on the path, and I think they had only just put it there. I should have taken the photo on the other side as you would then experience the official birdwatcher’s expression of sheer delight. This was doubly exhilarating for her as she was excited at just spotting a lone avocet, close to shore, which shouldn’t really have been there,  so she was able to share this in the book. The extra shows the wonderful box.
We were back in time to go to another theatre performance at the St Anne’s Centre - Planet Barrett featuring Rob Barrett - a comic poet and singer who takes you on a trip to the stranger parts of his brain. He covered important subjects such as his imagined relationship with potatoes.
