I have also backblipped Saturday's Butterflies & flowers ..... hope you will have a look .... thanks to those who already have :-)

Too hot & humid ....... I think I've melted!

The local weather station at Coningsby (about 12 miles away) recorded the highest temperature today at over 32c! No wonder I'm melting!

We did go out this afternoon .... we didn't go all the way "up the road" but wandered round in the wood where there was some shade!

Near the pond we found this female Broad-bodied Chaser perched on this twig ...... she posed beautifully for me :-)
Blipped the male last Sunday.

We also came across this insect ...... no idea what it is .... tried to identify it online but without success.
Hope somebody in blipland will know!

Update: Thanks to several blippers we have an identification!

It is an Ichneumonid wasp .....Amblyteles armatorius.
