A walk in the park!

Spent today at my new school, as they were having an INSET day.

The morning was spent in whole-school then department-based training sessions, which were very useful, and I also got my official photo taken and was issued with an iPad.

After lunch, we had a choice of fun, well-being activities. I chose the walk round Tilgate Park, which was really lovely as it wasn’t too hot and it was the perfect way to get to know several of my new colleagues. As usual, we had many former employers and co-workers in common - always a great way to start up a conversation!

Everyone was genuinely very nice, friendly and helpful and I’m sure I’ve made the right decision.
