Had lunch at Js yesterday with Dad and G . Did food bank first so a bit of a rush but worked out ok.
It was very hot and humid today. Did some chores though and got all the ironing done. Went down to LMs in the afternoon to meet up with her, HJ and AJ to go through all the soft toys and decide what to do with them. We ended up with 120 for Teddy Tombola, 40 small ones for a ‘bran tub’, 37 new hand knitted ones which we will sell separately on the stall, 1 bag on Christmas themed ones which we will save for later and two bags for the charity shop. We stayed for tea and cake and chatting so didn’t get home until 5. Was hoping for rain but it didn’t materialise so had to water the grass etc yet again.
Was hoping to blip all the teddies etc but photos were all really blurred so here are some L’s tea cups etc just taken to show S who was looking for blue and white crockery
