We drove over to Karlovy Vary for the day. A lovely place - get there if you can.

It's a spa town, so you walk around while sampling the water from the various springs. It offered a ton of Blipping material.

One of D's grandmothers was from there. She was expelled at the end of WWII and settled in Bavaria. D had visited the city with her after the fall of the Communist regime, so a sentimental journey for her.

I've been to the country twice, but never that corner of Bohemia.

This Communist era phone box got the nod for today's Blip.
