A corner of a wheatfield

Firstly, a HUGE thankyou to everyone for your kind words, hearts and stars on yesterday's celebratory blip.  You are so wonderful.  I will attempt to complete replying to your comments tomorrow.

Today's blip will be a bit of an anticlimax after all that.
This afternoon, I made half a dozen captures of poppies growing in a corner of a local wheatfield.  Tonight, I have spent over two hours trying to produce something from them that came close to what was in my mind.  Fortunately, as it is now 1am, I have managed something close and although I think I have oversaturated the red, it will have to do for now.
