Ponies

Ken and I joined our old friend Mark, with several others, to celebrate the ascent of his 600th Dodd (hill between 500-599m high, with 30m of “prominence”). Mark not only climbs lists of hills, he compiles them for a large international audience. Penvalla (537m) done, started in sun, descended in wind and rain, passing these Shetland ponies(?) standing near the ancient Stobo Kirk (which looks well worth a visit) in the upper Tweed valley
