Beautiful sunrise

I don't usually find myself standing in the kitchen at half past four in the morning but owing to a rather disturbed night I decided to make a cuppa at that rather unearthly hour.

Wonderful sunrise so I did something that I have never done before ..... grabbed a jacket, to partly cover my pyjamas, and a pair of shoes and out I went round the corner to get a better view.

Back home, cup of tea and then back to the land of nod until my alarm went off.  

The famous saying is 'Red sky at night shepherd's delight, Red sky in the morning shepherd's warning' and that's just how it has been today ..... awful!
