The Palace Gardens

…at Bad Homburg (“Bad” is German for Spa) are housing the headquarters of the Hessian Authority for Gardens and Palaces, and include two cedar trees, which came from Kew Gardens in 1822, introduced by the English garden enthusiast Princess Elizabeth who married the Landgrave Friedrich Joseph of Hesse-Homburg. - In the extra, a view from the nearby Sinclair House museum, we visited the current exhibition “Clouds in Art, from Gerhard Richter to Cloud”.
