Beginnings

Yay! The first crop of the season. I don't count the six broad beans I got the other day, most of the plants were eaten by something earlier in the year so I sacrificed them.

We shal have something with broccoli for dinner now. Whether it goes or not.

A lazy day, other than two, very hot, hours at the allotment cutting and watering, and another hour in the garden doing the same (without the cutting). I'm hoping the temperature drops a little bit tonight. My bedroom gets the late afternoon sun which is nice in the winter but even with the curtains drawn it gets very warm in the summer.
