Samurai Warriors

It was HOT today. Arvin and I started the day quietly at home eating fruit and cereal and relaxing. At 1:00 Helena's friend Donna arrived to take us sight seeing. We rode a bus and the subway to the Boston Museum of Fine Art. We had a great time there starting with a quick lunch and then exploring many areas in the museum. The last exhibit we saw was of Samurai armor and other artifacts. It was an amazing show with many full sets of armor and other items. The show was laid out very well and it was fascinating. In one room they had this display of three full sized Samurai in full armor on horses. It really felt like they were there. The horse on the right is in full horse armor. They had more examples of that kind of armor and of saddles near this display. We stopped for espresso on our way out and got back to Helena's around seven. By then it was time for dinner, so we picked up some delicious Chinese food from Wang's on Broadway and spent a lovely evening together. A great day. Press L to see these fellows in large.
