Saturday: Miami Intersection

We left the house early this morning to start the long trek back to Belize.  We flew from Newcastle to London, had a three hour lay over, and then the long 9 hour flight to Miami.  It was made longer by bad weather causing Miami airport to close and the plane having to circle for a while.

The flight was long but fine.  We definitely prefer daytime flights - at least you don’t feel intense pressure to sleep if you can’t.  

Transiting Miami means staying overnight.  We’re in a hotel close to the airport and popped out to the restaurant on the corner for a bite to eat.  We were eating at the equivalent of 0230 UK time but I tried not to overthink that.
