Iron and Wine at the Barbican

We went to see Iron and Wine this evening - he's gone from being one man and his guitar to a 12 piece band, and I'm not sure it's been a good move. Nevertheless, a good gig, the band members were entertaining (especially the horn section!) and he played enough from his back catalogue to keep curmudgeons like me happy.

And of course there was eating and drinking and catching up with our pals beforehand, so all in all a good evening to end a surprisingly hot day.

In Other News: I had an interview today, which seemed to go well, there was definitely chemistry there but it will all boil down to what kind of person they want for the role: older and more experienced or young and malleable!
