Such a hot day. It took us ages to work out the buses and trains into the centre from where we are staying.
We really liked the Ribeira area. 

The St John celebrations continue today .
We went out to eat this evening and found a restaurant where they were grilling sardines over charcoal outside the restaurant , LooseCanon had these,  I had cod with fewer bones.
Extra shows little girls in the local parade., grilling sardines,  a street in Porto and a view over the river Douro.
