View down the river

I spent some time yesterday sourcing second hand Hot Wheels track on Facebook.  Today we had to drive up to Gorey to pick some up.  We also took advantage of the Tesco Extra in Gorey to check out the Vegan cheese and other dairy free items.

Then we popped in to the antique junk shop - no purchases this time, and the tractor seat still awaits a buyer - before stopping in Enniscorthy for a meal.  As we meandered back along the river bank W warned me not to fall in.  I pointed out that it cannot be very deep, as the heron (little blob in the photo) was wading around well away from the bank.

Having been intermittently rainy all day, it turned into a mellow evening, and in normal circumstances a walk would have been pleasant - but the hip that started to trouble me three weeks ago is still painful.

Instead we came home, and now W is playing with the cars - "I need to work out how this works" - whilst I drink wine!
