Strange flowerbed-fellows

Not sure what this plant is with the daisy-like flowers, but I’m pretty sure it didn’t belong among the roses. Same thing with the purple ones.

The thistles, though - they left me in no doubt.

Made some progress. But every time I think I’m winning, I spot something new.
