Knott

This morning I decided to finish off Knott which was the one that I didn't complete when I walked up to Great Calva and decided I was too tired to walk any further and my car was at least 3 miles further away than it needed to be, this time I parked it closer and headed up through the ferns to reach a foggy not so exciting summit of Knott. The only other people I saw was some mountain bikers who asked for directions in the fog, which is hard when you're pointing in the direction they need to be heading in but it's foggy and you have no reference points. I headed back the same way as I didn't want to get lost in the fog or make my walk needlessly longer, I got completely soaked walking through the ferns that were almost as tall as me, I looked like I'd fallen in a river as I emerged from the jungle like path, my walking shoes were squelching water as I headed to my car, luckily I have waterproof car seat covers in my boot so my car was protected from me, I could almost hear my car saying don't even think about sitting in me looking like that!
