Don't sit on my Jimmy Shands

I’ve been chanelling  Richard Thompson for a few days, immersing myself in his songs like a fly in a whisky vat.  The excuse is that I’m compiling an RT compact disc for my mate, a man who doesn’t do downloads or Spotify. For me this is a pleasure and it has helped me work out what I think is a definitive eleven song playlist including some that are new to me. I will wake up at 3am with  one of these songs rotating in my head. It’s worth it. Here is Richard singing 1952 Black Lightning with passion.
