Flower Friday 23_2023

On our walk this morning Betsy took me up the hill on a private road and on the way back down I noticed these beautifully bright flowers with green bugs on them!

Had to make scones for the choir’s concert and cream tea event! Couldn’t find a working set of scales here so phoned Fran, Digby’s owner, and she invited me to go there so I went and made the scones there with her help and they look very good! However I didn’t follow the specified recipe but followed Delia Smith’ recipe which included egg so I will be told off!
