How to look after a widow

You get her to do things she hasn't done for ages.

You take her to the mouth of a stream and hold her tight while you walk bare foot up the current.  And it's scary but she laughs and we get to the edge and up the stone steps without mishap.

You sit her in the shade and pour her a glass of wine.

You make her lunch and then sit her under a weeping willow while you swim in the lake.

You take her to a brocante where she buys a  basket for market days. 

You re-find Llobet and drink a beer beside the river.  

She's golden with the sun and ready to sleep by the time you get home.

I promised Bobby I'd look after her.
