Lardy Cakes

I've had two packs of lard in the fridge for months to make seed cakes for the birds and finally got around to making them today. I emptied out a load of stuff from the store cupboard too so they should be extra tasty.

The weather has been foul ... low cloud for most of the day meant I could hardly see the tops of the trees in the garden. The sun finally poked through at tea time and we had a lovely sunset.

The week has gone so quickly and it's back to work on Monday :(
