wingspan

Joe was going to be leaving before noon but we all got stuck into a board game calle "Wingspan" which Chris and Sarah had brought with them. I'd played it once before at theirs, but needed a bit of a refresher. It involves all kinds of exotic birds and you have to help them find food and lay eggs. Luke won the first game, before lunch, showing all the transferable skills he uses in his day job. He worked out a good business strategy and procured piles of food for his birds. The second game started after we had had lunch and been outside for a wet walk (me and Luke) swim (dogs) or run (Chris and Sarah). I didn't join in this time and it is still going on...Lorna is coming round soon and Joe has decided to stay for tea..
