Moving forward nicely…

Hello Everyone,

I am now doing two walks a day of 2 miles each… I don’t plan to increase the distance anymore and I don’t really care about how long it takes. The goal now is to ensure that I am walking without the limp. I am still taking the one crutch with me but really would like to try it without it as I am not sure it is adding too much value to be honest. I will, however, stick with it as that is what I have been told to do. 

Around the house I just walk freely… again the challenge is to stop limping, stop holding the banister on the stairs (up and down). I did try to run across my sitting room, and all was okay. 

I also have stopped all medication other than the blood thinners. I think this was needed otherwise I could not measure progress.

I have been chatting with my mate Dom regarding which side to get on and off my bike to put less pressure on my new hip.

Next goal is the physio in two weeks time.
