Stirling from the Abbey Craig.

We took Chloe out up the Abbey Craig quite early this morning and it was already quite warm. However we had a very pleasant stroll along to the viewpoint from which the above was taken.
The river Forth performs some extreme meandering as it passes Stirling on it’s way down to the sea.
As it was way too hot for dog walking this afternoon, MaggieD and I washed and cleaned out the car and it is looking much the better for it. The car seems to keep clean a little better during the summer except for the wheels which quickly get covered in oily dust.
I am still surprised at the number of people out walking their dogs in the full heat of the afternoon. The poor pups all looked exhausted!
