Somewhere near Jardin Des Palais Royal

I was up and out the door early to take the metro to a conference with a 9am start. Not far to go and I should have made more effort to find breakfast.. my host had offered the day before but he’d underestimated how uncomfortable and difficult a broken ankle and crutches were..
A great first day at the conference which is about language coaching. Very interesting speakers. I had to change accommodation tonight and stayed in a hotel. The rooms were fine but I was unsure about street level. I was reassured it was close to pay day and no one had money to spend so the streets would be quiet.
A nice dinner after a wander around the streets to find something that appealed.
