New Kitchen in Devon

Fairly unremarkable day today after walking the kids to school and having coffee with Deb and Beth at Under Pressure we headed out for our trip down the M5 to Devon and our friends Dave and Lesley and son Ben. We did have a rather interesting interlude after their dog escaped into the surrounding area and we split up into search parties to find him. Lesley and I turned round at one point to see a black dog barking loudly at another dog in a passing car. “Isn’t that Toby?” I queried and sure enough there he was. We still have no idea how he escaped from the garden. We had to plan this visit towards the end of our stay as they had been surrounded by building detritus for the last 2 months during an extension and kitchen remodel. It was finished earlier this week and so appropriately here is a blip of them with L and part of the new look kitchen. Spent the rest of the evening working through the Guardian crossword together.
