Cats of skiathos

Wednesday 
We caught the local bus into Skiathos town in the morning and walked down from the top, towards the harbour. Great views across to the mainland. The old town is very picturesque, with narrow streets, white and blue houses, and beautiful bougainvillea. Lots of cats everywhere. 
We got some gifts for the grandkids, then had a coffee at a cafe near the old port. Caught the water taxi back to Koukounaries beach. After that we had a walk around the lake and then found a path which took us over to a beach at the other side of the headland. 
Later we walked back and stopped for lunch, stuffed vine leaves for me and a gyros salad for Dennis.
