Happy Summer Soltsice

Began with a morning walk at a trail out in a nearby neighborhood that called the Highland Forest loop. It went a bit over a mile through dense old growth woods mist of the time . Just right for today
Then some errands and our son stopped by on his Branch walk to help move our dressers around. Thank goodness he can help and just walk over.
Tomorrow is the end of the year bus pot luck and many of us retired drivers will go. I’ll pick up my pal MArilyn to come .
More importantly , this trip will be to see our dear friend whose had major serious neck surgery fusing four vertebrae together . We want to let her know we’ve been holding her in our hearts this whole time since she fell badly . She’s not real alert and has lots of recooping and recovering to to do .. we all hope her extremities will begin to get movement back …it’s heartbreaking that this has culminated in this terrible fall .
We’ll stay overnight in a hotel then head back Friday .
