Hare

A lovely long hike today - I drove half way to Leicester for slightly more hills. It was a fab day. I stopped at Launde Abbey - a Christian retreat centre - for a splendid afternoon tea I their cafe. Late on I met the hare on my path - not a brilliantly focused pic but I don’t usually manage to photo them at all!

I didn’t set off until my new super lightweight ice axe arrived with the postie - yes there’s still snow on the first pass and my old axe is so heavy I’ve splashed the cash on this new ski mountaineering toy.
