New Arrival

The house clearing reached its zenith today and S’s mum’s flat is now pretty barren. Most things went to the local secondhand shop but they gave up when their van was full! We collected a few bits and pieces (she had a better equipped toolbox than me!) and decided we’d like to re-home a pair of chairs to our terrace so that’s where I’m blipping from now.
Earlier we’d stopped by the undertakers in Murnau before meeting with friends for lunch and checking at Schlosscafe that they could handle our small post-funeral crowd tomorrow. They won’t actually be open when we arrive but S’s sister thinks that’s fine; hope everyone doesn’t just bugger off home!
