Sunrise

I got up early to travel up the mountain to Exogi (Ithaca - Greek Island) to watch and take a photograph of the sunrise over the Ionian sea towards Lefkada, another Greek Island.

The sunrise didn't disappoint and it was well worth the effort. The photograph shows the main village Greek Orthodox church with its beautiful blue dome and bell tower overlooking Afales Bay below, and also a view across the Ionian sea to Lefkada,  just before the sun came up over the horizon. Isn't nature wonderful.
