Katharine’s grandson

First of all, thankyou lovely blip friends for your kind words on the image of Mary-Anne and Darcy yesterday.
I mentioned my youngest cousin’s impending grandparenthood later this year and this morning I took this printed panel from my stash and added a plain smoky blue border and then made a multi coloured border from 3x1 and a half inch strips of rustic coloured fabrics . The blues are smokier than they appear here. Tomorrow I’ll make a backing then take it to the quilting lady and eventually bind it and add it to the gift bundle for Katharine’s grandson. A quilt to play on .
