This very beautiful Summer Solstice day was well spent at the Getty Center. The photo was taken at the Rotonda where there is a new installation by LA artist Mercedes Dorame in which she honors the Tongva people, the first inhabitants of this area. The Getty has launched a series of installations to promote the art of contemporary artists and their interaction with the public. They are generously sharing some incredible spaces like this glass dome at the entrance. Perfect lightness for this first day of summer.
