Happy First Day of Summer!
Although I looked at the long range forecast tonight on The Weather Network and it says Nova Scotia will have above average temperatures and above average rainfall over the next 3 months.
Todays photo is from one of the gardens that we worked on today. Today was the first day there. As we get an area weeded I am getting it mulched. It is a big property for the area it is in. There used to be a lot of trees in the back yard until Hurricane Juan went thru in 2003. After they lost a lot of trees, they decided to make the back yard into a garden. She designed it herself and her and her husband built the beds and maintained things until he passed away in 2020. She is 84 now and can't do all the work by herself.
Tomorrow we finish a job that was started last week, converting a front lawn into a garden.
Sunny and warm today, a nice day to be outside working.
