Runcorn

Hospital day again. However a bit different today. Usually J is in a side room on her own and I can sit there as well, taking a bit of time out for a walk somewhere. But today the side room was occupied by a prisoner and two accompanying officers, and J was in a ward with others so I wasn’t allowed in.

Consequently I have walked over 25,000 steps today. I am getting to know Runcorn a whole lot better.

Sometimes I prefer the backs of buildings to their fronts. This unhappy terrace has seen better days, and sad to say isn’t working commercially. Missing roof slates suggest at least part of it is in some danger. I like the mural though.

Summer Solstice at 7.30am. This year is moving too quickly.
