Old friend

J had a bit of a lie in while I sorted the dogs out and started to get a few things done for mum around the house. There was a SWD midlands meet at the Forge Mil in Redditch so we headed down to see them. Darwin turned out to be a star, 6-8 other dogs around him and he didn’t lose it once, helped that they were all girls I think. Had a nice walk in the fields alongside the stream and a play in the stream as well, did manage to loose Darwin’s favourite rope toy when we threw it in the stream and he didn’t see it in time before losing in under a log somewhere. Came back and put up a load of pictures for mum around the house before going down to the garage to look at the car mum likes. After talking to the salesman, who wanted to sell her a manual car they had in the showroom, we settled on a 2 month wait for mum to get an automatic version of the Suzuki Swift. Packed the car and left mum so could J drop me off at an old uni mates house. Headed into town with him for an afternoon of drinking and catching up. Town was busy as you would expect with the sun being out and the football final of some sort on. Finally got the train back after it was delayed for 30 min and J picked me up from the local station.
