Fête de la musique

I worked in the beautiful Bnf Richelieu today and went for korean food for lunch in the passage Choiseul (Little Seoul). Then I met up with some colleagues for apéro on rue Saint-Placide. I've really enjoyed seeing C this year, and tonight our dear colleague M was also there and I got to meet a new colleague too.

On the solstice, France celebrates the fête de la musique. This became an official thing in 1982. As I walked home from the metro this evening, there was music happening in two squares (Jean Lorrain and the place de l'Eglise d'Auteuil). I've tried to capture the community spirit in my photos (see the extra, too), which I think is the best part of the fête.
