Village jail?

Well, you learn something new every day!
I had guessed this was the village jail but after doing some research it turns out the village of Steeple Ashton used to be a small town and the Lock Up or Blind House was built on the town green. It great that these pieces of history are still here.

Today started cloudy but turned out to be a lovely sunny warm day with temperatures hitting 21 degrees!
Have spent the afternoon prepping for the inter club league that Bannerdown is hosting this weekend.
I'm chief soup dragon for the weekend with a friend. So if anyone fancies a bacon or sausage butty for breakfast or lasagna for tea tomorrow night. You know where to come!
