Second attempt

to clear front drainpipe involved using this plastic tubing. Back up the steps, only four I think, then inserting tubing into top of pipe and trying to push it down to get to the bend and wriggle it about. What a performance aided by Tedwin saying come down, come down. This done I was then told it needed flushing out with hosepipe. No way was I going up wooden steps with heavy hosepipe and water, that is completely unsafe, so job half done.
I went and did a proper job, deadheading roses.
