Two gardens

What a great day we have had. We were invited to meet up with Ken (Knottman) and Ann (Mrs K) at their home in Arnside. We arrived at their lovely house with the wonderful views. After coffee and chat we were taken to Sizergh Castle, a place we had never been to, where we walked round the delightful gardens. We learnt a lot as we were walking round, as we would with these two knowledgeable people. The weather was perfect - sunny, but not too hot. A fascinating place.

We had some lunch and then returned to their house for cake and more chat. We also had a tour of their amazing garden - so many paths and hidden corners and trees and patches of wild with many orchids. A delight! 

A really lovely visit and blipmeet. Thank you to both of you. 

There was a special extra reason for the visit - more tomorrow!
