View from The Shard

We had a day in London today, one of the highlights of which was a visit to the 800 feet high observation platforms at the top of The Shard (the tallest building in Western Europe). It was genuinely thrilling to see the familiar landscape of London from such a height and in such detail - we spent about an hour and a half walking round looking at the views from every angle.

If you go large you can see some of London's landmarks, although it does get a bit hazy towards the horizon.
