Départ Maxime

Today was a sad day at the creche as it was the last day for Maxime, one of the most popular animateurs there. We haven't had an easy time with Dexter at the creche as he puts up a fight nearly every day when we drop him off, except when he is met at the door by Maxime whom he absolutely adores. In fact all the kids love him as he is so patient and kind and he will be dearly missed. We had a little leaving do for him this evening and presented him with a gift and the children had done some scribbles drawings for him.
We have tried to explain to Dex that Maxime is leaving but we're not sure how much he understands as he refused to say goodbye to him today. So I guess next week there'll be lots of tears when he realises that Maxime is not there. Oh dear.
