Frock for the Fairy Ball
As every student of Fairyology knows, in the early hours of June 21st, the summer solstice or Midsummer if you are also a student of Shakespeare, the fairies hold their grand ball. I made a wee frock for the occasion. It is a delicate design of peony and iris petals. Miss Wiggy also donated a floral garland to make it really special. You may see "fairy rings" of mushrooms or flowers on the ground around this time which indicate where fairies have danced. Do tread carefully as The Bard suggests! (extra) Gift#171: a vivid imagination.
